Delete your account

Built By Bo Ltd — Last updated: October 2026

You can permanently delete your Grammagical account and all of your children's data at any time. This cannot be undone.

Option 1 — in the app (fastest)

  1. Open Grammagical and go to the parent area — tap the parent icon, then enter your parent PIN.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account & all data.
  4. Read the confirmation and tap Continue.
  5. Confirm it's you: enter your password, or sign in again with Google or Apple — whichever you used to create the account.

Deletion happens immediately. You'll be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.

Option 2 — if you can't access the app

Email support@grammagical.app from the email address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. We'll action the request within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.

We may ask you to confirm a detail about the account first. This protects you from someone else requesting deletion of your family's data.

What gets deleted

  • Your parent account and sign-in details, including your email address
  • Every child profile on the account — names and ages
  • All learning progress: stars, levels, milestones, level history and placement results
  • Session and gameplay history
  • Your parent PIN
  • The link between your account and our payment provider
  • Everything stored locally on your device

If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Grammagical's Sign in with Apple token as part of the deletion.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so we cannot cancel one on your behalf. To avoid being charged again, cancel it before you delete your account:

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Grammagical → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Grammagical → Cancel

What we keep, and for how long

Your data is removed from our live systems straight away. A small number of records may briefly remain in encrypted backups, which are purged on a rolling cycle and fully cleared within 30 days.

Separately, Apple and Google keep their own records of any purchase you made, because they — not Grammagical — are the seller. We also keep the minimum billing records we are legally required to hold for tax and accounting purposes. Neither includes your children's names or their learning data.
